What we cover
Telford 360 publishes guides to local businesses, restaurants, shopping, attractions, events and everyday services. We include local entities when they help explain a story, orient readers or support a practical decision — not to fill an article with names.
Getting the geography right
Telford Town Centre, Wellington, Oakengates, Dawley, Madeley and Ironbridge are not interchangeable. Wellington has its own market-town character; Ironbridge is a historic settlement by the River Severn and part of the wider Ironbridge Gorge heritage area, not another name for the town centre. Newport is a separate market town in the wider Telford & Wrekin borough and should only be included when the article genuinely covers that wider area.
Neighbourhood and development names such as Lawley, Priorslee, Donnington, Hadley, Leegomery, Trench, Ketley, Stirchley and Brookside should be used only when the subject or service genuinely relates to them. A business’s service area is not proof that it is located in every area it serves.
We also distinguish central leisure at Southwater and Telford Town Park from nearby countryside such as The Wrekin and Ercall Hill. Both are valuable to local life, but each belongs in the right geographic context.
Sources and time-sensitive details
We aim to use reliable sources close to the subject, such as Telford & Wrekin Council, the business, school, venue, event organiser, transport provider or public service. Business operations, opening hours, menus, event dates, attraction access, school information and transport details can change. We check current information where practical and do not present historic listings or unconfirmed annual events as current.
Statistics and statements about economic activity should retain their source, date and geographic scope. Proposed developments should not be described as completed. For river-related flood information or outdoor access, we direct readers to current official sources rather than making unsupported claims about a property or route.
Independence and commercial relationships
Telford 360 is an independent local information and recommendations site. A review or listing is not automatically paid for or endorsed. If a page is sponsored or contains another commercial relationship, we will identify it clearly. Commercial arrangements do not in themselves determine our editorial view.
Corrections and updates
If you spot an error, email [email protected] with the page address, the detail in question and, if possible, a reliable source. We review correction requests and update material errors where appropriate. Minor edits may be made without a separate note; for a substantial correction, we may add an editorial note to the page.
A request from a business or individual does not automatically require us to remove content. We consider accuracy, relevance, privacy, safety and the public interest. We do not publish private personal information or unverified allegations about individuals.
Scope and limitations
Our guides are selective, not a complete directory of every business, service, attraction or event across Telford. Inclusion does not guarantee quality or availability, and absence does not imply criticism. Please confirm important details with the organisation concerned.
